when you are asked if you’re a glass half-empty kind of person or a glass half-full kind of person, there is not an actual glass with water at the exact halfway point that someone needs your opinion on
don’t say ‘well, technically it’s always full’ super condescendingly
don’t say ‘well, depends, is it being filled up or poured out?’
don’t say ‘while other people argued over the water level, I drank the water because I’m an opportunist’
