The thing is, feminists did not appropriate the term nazi to identify themselves. It was a term appropriated by misogynists to label women who refused to conform to the male cultural standard of what a woman should be or how a woman should behave.
This image is a mocking of that level of ridiculousness. It pushes it back onto those who label women as feminazis and exposes their hyperbole for the hateful inaccurate descriptive that it is.
It’s not a reclamation, it’s a throwing it back right in their fucking faces.
No one is celebrating the Nazi symbol, the women who started this group did not appropriate the symbol. That symbol was appropriated by those who would very much like to see women (whether they admit it or not) as pleasant, malleable pleasure holes and not much more than that.
If you want to get mad at people for using that symbol, get mad at those who use it to harm & oppress others, not those who are using it in an attempt to reveal those who ultimately despise women SO much that they describe those of us who care to make our own fucking decisions without the help or input or guidance of the almighty man as fucking nazis.
